In 1994, Scott MacKenzie started AV Events (originally YTV) with a single projector, a passion for video cameras, and a heart to serve. Across more than thirty years, he grew the company to become a vibrant, full-service audio-visual provider, consistently delivering highend events across Aotearoa.
Approaching 2025, Scott and his wife Shona decided that their era was coming to an end, selling AV Events to Christchurch-based company Technical Event Solutions (TES). Now part of the TES group, AV Events continues to do what we do best; serving our clients and bringing their visions to life with fully integrated audio, lighting, LED screens, staging, rigging, and broadcast services.
